About INSPIRIT International Communications sprl
Photojournalist Erik Luntang-Jensen
My mission is to use years of experience working with European news agencies, newspapers, magazines and organizations to help make a difference how pictures is successfully used in a communication strategy.
All communication is about visibility whatever it is the Corporate world, Governmental Organizations, NGO’s or the Media. In other words it is all about staying in business.
In this digital age everybody can use a camera and in no time publish photos. If this is not sufficient there are plentiful of places on the web with cheap images.
With all these possibilities at our hand why spend money on hiring somebody like me?
Because the digital age is drowning in stereotyped images that don’t give a true picture of what a organization represent. In many cases the effect can end up being the opposite. The first insight we get into an organization is via the image.
We have seen it all too often, blurry and dark images from an in-house event, the same flag illustration, the same meeting, just the same everything. No content or story is told worth knowing.
What about keeping the history of the organization intact for the future?
To my opinion it is not sustainable to save on photography by going what seems the easy way. Often money can be saved by hiring a professional instead of letting employees spend valuable time searching stereotyped pictures or capture moments in the rush and afterwards publish it on all the different platforms.
Good images is part of the whole identity of any organization and it is what the public associate with.
A professional photojournalist also ensure that the pictures will be searchable in databases in years to come. His or hers job is not done by capturing the moment. The work continues in front of the computer selecting, filling in captions with names and keywords and optimizing in Photoshop.
